Zoo Time

We planned to go to Indianapolis today (for Ethiopian food and the Rhythm Discovery Center), but made a last minute decision to go to St. Louis instead (for Ethiopian food and the zoo) since the weather was so beautiful! It ended up being a great choice!!

The zoo is really spectacular - the kids got to see all kinds of animals! 

 

For supper, we enjoyed Ethiopian food after our long day at the zoo : )

This style of coffee pot is unique to Annaliese's birth region of Ethiopia. She was proud to see it : )

The kids were just a little wound up on the drive home. Not sure who let them drink Ethiopian coffee (pretty much espresso) for supper (?!)

Today was really a great day. So glad that the 4 of us get to share life together!!
