1st Full Day Together

Our first full day together, as a family of four, was wonderful! Don’t get me wrong, we certainly have some challenges ahead, but we feel good about how things will progress in the coming months after spending time together today : )

My favorite part was hearing the continuous laughter floating throughout our house. Annaliese and Nathaniel Gojam get along very well and can communicate pretty well despite speaking different languages. What a joy!

Nathaniel Gojam is proving to be a good eater so far - what a relief!. We had Chinese beef and broccoli for supper (one of the freezer meals prepped by our small group last month) and after a little prompting, he tried cooked broccoli. He LOVED it (you know, just like his mama - ha)! Annaliese is a good influence in this arena, which helps tremendously!

Throughout the day, Nathaniel Gojam tried to teach us how to play marbles – he is quite good – and we showed him legos. It was great to finally see Jonathan’s hard work on the lego table put to good use : )

We were also able to enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors. They stayed outside for more than an hour.

To end the day, as we were getting the kids ready for bed, Nathaniel Gojam showed us that his left front tooth was loose. Next thing we knew, it fell out! It was a little difficult explaining the tooth fairy, but he helped us put it in the tooth fairy pillow. We’ll see what happens tomorrow morning : )
