Week #1 - Wednesday

Annaliese returned to school today for the first time this week. She was not terribly excited to go, but we think she will appreciate the time away more than she realizes (especially based on yesterday's unexpected nap)!

Jonathan and I enjoyed the one-on-one time with Nathaniel Gojam. He is such a sweet little guy and we feel so fortunate to have him as part of our family : )

We, unfortunately, did not do a great job taking pictures today, but enjoyed some of the following activities:
  * hearing Nathaniel Gojam ask for Annaliese and watch for her
    out the front window – this began around 11:00

  * teaching him how to play Candyland and Uno
  * outdoor playtime with daddy
  * letting him hear Annaliese read – he was pretty mesmerized

  * hearing him say, “mmm…that’s yummy!," during dinner
  * seeing his marble skills (with fewer distractions)

  * having him reach to hold my hand while we read bedtime
    stories

Look forward to getting to know him better and better each day : )
