Nathaniel was able to Skype with his friend, Lielti, from Ethiopia who now lives in Washington state this afternoon. He was not quite sure what to think when he saw her face, but warmed up to the idea pretty quickly. He was so proud to show her his school supplies and his new bedroom : )

Then tonight, Annaliese and I went to our friend Susie's house for a Thirty-One party. Michelle Jacob, a friend from church and Thirty-One consultant, had asked us in February if she could have a party for us and donate 100% of her commissions to us to help offset our final adoption expenses. What a blessing!!
We had a good turnout of ladies from our family and our church. It was so good to get out of the house for awhile and see them all!! We have also had several online orders. Feeling so blessed to have the support that we do : )

When Annaliese and I left for the party, Nathaniel looked on the verge of tears. I felt terrible, as he had seemed to understand what was going to happen (on a basic level) tonight before we had left. Not too long after we left, I texted Jonathan to see if he was doing okay and I received the following message back: "He was a little sad but all is good now." The following picture was attached - glad he had fun with daddy : )
