Day Trip to Indy

We surprised Annaliese with a trip to Indianapolis for Ethiopian food today. She was so excited!

Before lunch, we headed to the Rhythm Discovery Center, which is a percussion museum. We all had fun playing!

 

 

Adoption Update

Our social worker finished our home study today. It is now in the mail on its way to DCFS for state approval!!

Surprise

So proud of our nephews, Josh and Caleb, and one of their friends from church, Victoria, tonight! They invited us over to dinner to surprise us. The three kiddos had been making and selling those rubber band bracelets for the past several months. What we didn't know was that they were raising the money to give to us for our adoption.

I would say their parents are doing something right! Way to go guys, and thanks so much! We are one step closer.
