Six months – six months ago today – Annaliese came
home to America to join our family. Oh my goodness!!
Although the transition has been ridiculously
hard at times (the other two are so easy going, I – the type A, less flexible
one - probably feel this the most), it has been an absolute blessing to our
family as well!
Annaliese fits into our family so well. She is overly
independent & strong-willed and absolutely drives me crazy at times because
she acts so much like me! On the other hand, she is so fun-loving, joyful, and
witty! Her laugh is absolutely infectious : )
She has brought so much joy to our lives that it
is indescribable. We feel so blessed to have been chosen to be a part of her
story and pray continued blessings on her life.
We know that tough times are sure to be ahead,
but we pray for strength and discernment as those occasions arise. In the
meantime, we will continue to enjoy life together as a family and do our best
to keep Christ at the center - we could not do this without Him!
