Nathaniel was screened for school today and we are hoping that he will begin next week after the staff gets things ready for him. The timing is not ideal, but we would like him to have some exposure to the routine of school before he begins his summer fun : )
After his screening, he and I went school supply shopping. He was so excited with the addition of each item to the cart. Nearly every time I would hand him something he would say, "Annaliese?" I would say "no Annaliese, it's for Nathaniel's school." He would get the biggest grin and say, "oh...thank you, mommy!"
He especially likes having his own scissors : )
